The Deputy Prime Minister is the Second most Senior Minister of the Crown, deputizes for the Prime Minister, and is responsible for the Civil Service. They are appointed by the Sovereign on the advice of the Prime Minister and sit ex-officio as a Member of the Cabinet and Whitehall Foreign Affairs Council. The Deputy Prime Minister can be a Member of Parliament, but this is not always the case. The office is not always in use, and prime ministers may use other offices, such as First Secretary of State, to indicate the seniority.

This office, known as a vice president in other regions, was created by Prime Minister Colfax County on 20 October 2018, after the region had settled from moving from another region. While the purpose of the role has not changed over time, it specific duties and responsibilities have changed many times. The longest-serving Deputy Prime Minister is X, who held the post for over X days. The shortest-serving Deputy Prime Minister is X, who held the post for X days. On X, X became the first woman to hold the role. Currently the Deputy Prime Minister is the Viscount Sidmouth.

The office holder works alongside other Ministers to complete the goals set by the Prime Minister and the duties and responsibilities as set by law.
