Unity Coalition

The Unity Coalition was formed by an agreement between the Liberal Progressive Party and The Alliance Party (later the British Constitutionalist Party), led by an Independent, Matthew Somerset, 1st Duke of Somerset, following August Lleyton, 1st Earl of Stirling failing the Confidence vote in the Address in Reply.
