The British Constitutionalist Party, also known colloquially as the Constitutionalists or more rarely the Whigs, was one of the two main political parties in the Empire of Great Britain, along with the Liberal Democrats. It is the current governing party, having won the May 2023 General Election. The party is on the Centre to Centre Left of the political spectrum. It currently has 1 Member of the House of Lords and 5 Members of the House of Commons. The party holds its conference every Midterm.

The British Constitutionalist Party was founded on 22 April 2023 from The Alliance Party. Under the leadership of Elizabeth Howard-Campbell, 1st Duchess of Edinburgh, it has played a preeminent role in the politics of the Empire. On 7 May 2023, the Liberal Progressive Party merged into the party, turning into the political organisation it is today. Since then, the Liberal Democrats have emerged as the Constitutionalists' main rival.

On 10 July 2023, Howard-Campbell announced her intention to step down as Party Leader as she did not want to contest the premiership in the upcoming General Election. The next day, Cameron Romefeller, 1st Viscountess Balloch succeeded her, having defeated William Somerset in the leadership bid.
