The First Knightstone Ministry (previously known as the Carew Ministry until the 6th April 2024) was formed on the 5 March 2024, when Sir Thomas Carew was invited to form a Government by Charles III and to succeed William Somerset, 2nd Viscount Douglas as Prime Minister of Great Britain, and dissolved on the 4 May 2024 in the run-up to the May 2024 General Election. The Carew Ministry was formed during the 31st Session of Parliament from the Concorde Coalition, a coalition agreement between the Heron Party and the British Liberal Party. It was dissolved on the 5th May 2024 following the conclusion of the May 2024 General Election. At its height it was a supermajority Coalition Government, but following the collapse of the coalition it was a Heron Party Minority Government. For the last four days leading up to the General Election, it was run by the Unionist Party, Carew's new party.

Changes
- Patrick Maniar-Wright was later appointed as Minister of State for Development, serving within the Home Office. He continued his duties as Justice Secretary.
- The Viscount Salisbury was removed from the Treasury owing to his success in restoring the economy, and so was moved away to allow him to pursue new challenges. He became Minister without Portfolio and a Special Advisor to the Prime Minister.
- On the 22 April, the Concorde Coalition was formerly dissolved with the BLP forming a Loyal Opposition against the Government: the Baroness Knightstone, the Countess of Argyll, and Patrick Maniar-Wright all left Government. Owain Carew-Grey was appointed Deputy Prime Minister alongside his duties as Foreign Secretary (the same positions Carew held prior to his appointment as PM). The Viscount Douglas returned to the Great Offices of State as Home Secretary, and the Duke of Warwick was appointed Chancellor of the Exchequer. Lastly, the Viscount Salisbury became Justice Secretary.
