The Summer Budget Amendment Act 2023 (1 Edw. 9. c. 5) is a Standard Act of Parliament which amended the then active Sumer Budget. The bill was written by the Member of Parliament for Sutherland. The Summer Budget Amendment Bill was duly introduced to the House of Commons on 17 May 2023 and the House of Lords on 29 May 2023, and received Royal Assent on 6 June 2023.

Text of the Bill

Article I || Titles

1.00 || This Act may be cited and referred to in short as the Summer Budget Amendment Act 2023.

1.01 || This Act may be referred to in full as An Act to amend the Summer Budget Act 2023.


Article II || Amendments

2.00 || Article II Section 2.01 shall be amended to read as follows:

2.01 || The rate of Interest shall be set at 1.5% 0.5%

2.01 || Article V Section 5.02 shall be amended to read as follows:

       5.02 || The following shall be in place for Estates’ during this Budget:
               5.02a || The Treasury may sell a maximum of 2000 acres, per land owner, per payment cycle.
               5.02b || Each acre of land will cost £200.
               5.02c || Each acre of land will generate £6 of income per payment cycle.

2.02 || Article VI Section 6.00 is amended to read as follows:

       6.00 || HM Government shall follow the following schedule:
               6.00a || Tax notices shall be sent out on the 21st of each month declaring the Treasury's intent to tax;
               6.00b || Taxes shall become collectible on the 30th of each month and citizens must make payments then. Citizens who take a Salary shall have their taxes deducted automatically from their salary, with any remaining balance to be payable by the 30th of the month.
               6.00c || Salaries and any other payments shall be dispersed on the 30th of each month.


Article III || Ratification

3.00 || This Act shall come into effect upon passage by both Houses of Parliament with a simple majority and assent by the Sovereign or other authority as established under the Monarchy Act of 2021.
