The October 2024 General Election was held on the 9th October 2024. It was unexpectedly called by the Prime Minister of Great Britain at the time, Thomas Carew, The Viscount Sidmouth in response to the increasing Parliamentary inactivity and absences of the divisive 34th Parliament of Great Britain. It resulted in an acclaimed Commons consisting of five MPs and a secure parliamentary majority for the Unionist Party and it's junior coalition partner, the British Workers' Party: under August Carew-Grey, The Baron Calder, the UP formed a fourth successive term of Government in a row. The election saw the Herons reduced to a single seat, and the BWP challenged for votes on the left-side of the political spectrum by the Labour Party.
