Chequers is a 16th-century manor house near Ellesborough, Buckinghamshire, that serves as the official country residence of the Prime Minister of Great Britain. It has been the official residence of the sitting PM since the passing of the Chequers Act 2024 during the Premiership of the Baron Knightstone, which granted the Prime Minister the country manor for private purposes.
